Kicking Up Our Heels - In Collaboration with Emily Underwood-Lee & Emily Speed
Artists Emily Underwood-Lee and Brian Lobel worked with GOSH Arts to ask 100 adults caring for patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) how they take care of themselves whilst at the hospital. In response to this research artist Emily Speed designed Cocoon and worked with Plaey Workshop, to make the structure a reality. Upholstery by Bluebird Upholstery. In November 2020, Emily and Brian adapted this work for Great Ormond Street Hospital Staff Members, and this new adaptation is forthcoming as a larger project.
Funded by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Arts Council England. Below is the pamphlet made for Parents at GOSH, and forthcoming will be a new pamphlet focused on health professionals.
